Wander Easy, Live Free

Hello! With Love, Your Travel Extraordinaire

Cassie, August 22, 2025September 15, 2025

Meet Cassie: Professional Traveler, Amateur Blogger

Hi, I’m your friendly neighborhood storyteller, professional suitcase over-packer, travel extraordinaire, and the only person you know who’s managed to turn both coffee and jet lag into an actual lifestyle.

For 14 years, I worked as a flight attendant, which means I’ve seen it all: passengers using the call button like it’s a drive-thru window, people trying to fit an actual piano-sized carry-on in the overhead bin, and more mid-air karaoke than you’d think is legal. Those years gave me two things: a love of travel… and a deeply suspicious relationship with airplane peanuts.

These days, I’ve traded the skies for scrubs and work as an oncology nurse—a job that reminds me daily how precious and fleeting life is. That’s why I grab every chance I can to explore new places, dive into cultures, eat my way across cities, and let music (preferably live, and preferably loud) set the soundtrack for it all.

In this travel blog, you can expect a little bit of everything:

where to eat (from Michelin stars to mystery street food), where to sleep (spoiler: sometimes it’s a plush hotel bed, sometimes it’s a questionable hostel bunk with a squeaky spring), the travel gear that actually works (and the stuff that’s just Instagram bait), and the sights worth seeing (plus the ones you can skip unless you’re really into long lines and overpriced keychains). Basically, if it can be eaten, explored, slept in, or accidentally purchased, I’ll probably write about it.

I travel mostly for the food, and occasionally the scenery.

This blog is where I’ll share the stories, the chaos, the beauty, and the comedy of traveling—because travel isn’t just about perfect Instagram photos, it’s about the unpredictable moments in between: the meals that make you cry (sometimes from spice, sometimes from joy), the strangers who become friends, and the questionable souvenirs you swear you’ll use but never do.

So buckle up, grab your tray table snacks, and join me. After all, I’ve got the flight hours and the frequent flyer miles to prove I know my way around an airport… and enough nursing experience to handle the aftermath of questionable street food.

Welcome to the adventure—I promise it’ll be worth the layovers.
